
Today was game day in our 8 day countdown to summer break. Students enjoyed playing various board and card games!






During a morning route in Pleasant Lake, a bus while stationary was backed into by a vehicle. Immediately the bus driver reported to local authorities the bus the accident, and reported no injuries to; students, the driver, or the bus. A local police officer arrived at the scene to assess the accident. Following the officer completing an accident report and confirming there were no injuries to any students, the bus was able to return to its normal morning route.
The first priority of MSD of Steuben County Schools is always the concern and safety of our students and staff. Thank you to law enforcement and MSD staff for their quick response in handling this accident.


First grade took our walking field trip to the park today, getting in lots of steps and rotating through some activities including kickball, volleyball, chalk, hula hoops, sack races, and more!







Dear Families: To meet the needs of the many students who participate in summer school, credit recovery, and band and yearbook courses, the district will have students keep their Chromebooks once again this summer.
With all of the anticipated movement as we transition to Pleasant Lake Montessori School, Chromebooks WILL be collected from students in grades K-4 at Pleasant Lake Elementary. We are excited to announce that MSDSC is participating in the 23-24 Speak Up Research Project for Digital Learning, a national initiative of Project Tomorrow. Since fall 2003, Speak Up has helped education leaders include the voices of students, faculty, parents, and the community in annual and long-term planning. Wednesday night, the American Legion recognized several local fourth grade students for their performance in the annual Flag Test. Amongst those recognized were Zayne Yeakle, Harmony Hubbell, Xander Prater, Sophia McGlothan, Liam Goudenseune and Reagan Hardley. Well done Rhinos!





First Grade celebrated B-Day with Bubbles! They learned about how bubbles are made and used pipe cleaners as wands so they could experiment with different shapes and sizes.
