Saturday the 7th and 8th grade had close battles against fairfield. 7th grade lost and 8th grade won a defensive struggle 6-0. 7th grade has a record of 3-3 and 8th grade 2-4. There are two games left.

AMS Girls Soccer
On 10/3, the team showed their best teamwork so far with lots of assists and passing in a 7-0 Win over Garrett. Shout out to the girls who scored: Natalee, Brynlee, Lexie, Hailey, Adrianna, and Belle. Belle scored the team’s PK with all eyes on her. Great work from the girls. That brings season record to 5-2-1.

AMS Girls XC:
Last night the team overall ran well against an experienced Jr. NECC conference and placed 7th as the only team with four 6th graders in the varsity line up. Summer Ross pushed through pain to finish 17th with a time of 13:15, while Whitnee Huff lead the 6th grade pack with a time of 13:42, just missing out on all-conference in 27th place. Also scoring for Angola were Macy Newhard (36th, 14:19), Harper Yoder (42nd, 14:29), and Sophia Smith (54th, 14:49). Several runners qualified for the state meet and will look to set new personal bests this Saturday.
